		<description>Regarding the fireplace mystery...don&#039;t know if this is helpful but...my grandparents (both sets) lived in 1920&#039;s era Chicago bungalows that had the traditional center wall fireplace flanked by mantle level high bookcases.  The fireplace was brick all around with a very small nonworking opening.  Complete with (ceramic?) fake logs!</description>
