We toured the world, adopted three children from every village we passed through, got four doctorates each, started a vineyard, retired as millionaires, and completely mastered DDR. That’s why we haven’t updated in almost a year.
Amazingly, we kept working on the house even when we were in Zimbabwe, and we have tons of updates to post. Let’s start with pics: We’re now on Flickr. Check us out!
What are we up to at the moment? So glad you asked.
- We recently bought a new Craftsman-style storm door, handmade of cypress.
- We removed the wretched vinyl storm windows and have ordered traditional wooden storms.
- While we wait for the new storms, we’re restoring the 14 windows on the main floor.
- I (alicia) planted a vegetable garden, and we’re also working on the rest of the gardens around the house.
